Memorial Day Celebration
Come to the Candle Light Vigil at the East Lyme Memorial Green in Niantic on May27, 2012 at 7:30PM and join with us in this special and sacred ceremony.

Roast Beef Dinner:

Italian Dinner
Come out and make it the best ever. Great food, Comradeship and Fun.
The Italian Dinner has been slated to restart in April 2012 so come on out and enjoy the
great food and see all your friends who attend. The fourth Saturday of each month.

Hall Rental
Our meeting hall is for rent when not occupied. It has a listed seating capacity of 68 persons 105 without tables. We have a 360 sq foot adjoining deck that faces the water. Kitchen facilities are also available. Have your function overlooking Niantic Bay. For information Click Here
Our membership meetings are the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM at the Post Home located at 39 Columbus Avenue Niantic, Connecticut. Both the VFW membership and Ladies Auxiliary meet in our hall at the same time. Men's Auxiliary meetings are currently being organized contact a VFW member if you wish to become a Charter Member.

Elections Have Been Held:
Our meeting this month is for the installation of officer. We will meet at 6:00PM for a joint meeting VFW and Ladies Auxiliary. After the installation we will have a covered dish.We hope to see all of you there for this special evening together.

August Tag Sale at The Post Home:
The Ladies Auxiliary is holding a Tag Sale in August date TOA. They are looking for saleable donations for this annual fund raiser that assists them in fulfilling there mission.
The Ladies Auxiliary Patriotic Art Program:
The Ladies Auxiliary sponsored a Patriotic Art program at EasT Lyme High School. The first second
and third place Art will be on display at the Town Hall. The first place winner made it through District and to Department where she came in second in the state. Congratulations too all of the participants.
We are hoping to post all three of these fantastic works of art here on our website soon.
Post Home Repairs:
The Facilities Committee under the direction of chairman Robert Farrior has continued to work on the much needed repairs to our Post Home. Through their persistent hard work and the community support they have gained change is starting to show. We have a long way to go and your support would be greatly appreciated. New Medical Equipment Loaning Program:
Ladies Auxiliary starts "Veterans We Care We Share TM" program. Through this program an assortment of Durable Medical Equipment is available on loan to veterans and the families of veterans. The Ladies Auxiliary is accepting addition pieces of equipment for this program. For donations of equipment or for information on what is available Click Here
